World’s Leading Luxury Brand Announces 2022 Results |

The world’s foremost luxury brand, Rolls-Royce, achieved a record-breaking sales year in 2023, with more bespoke luxury and more electrifying results expected in 2023.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, recently announced that the Goodwood-based luxury brand delivered a record 6,021 cars in 2022. Although “never chasing volume”, according to Müller-Ötvös, the increase in volume signifies the brand’s power as the global leader in luxury.

With these superior numbers, Müller-Ötvös also announced the intensification of Rolls-Royce’s coach-built project, the “absolute crown and pinnacle” of the Roll-Royce brand. The “by invitation only” project will see well-heeled customers being invited to create super-bespoke cars, such as the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail and others, during the course of 2023 and beyond.

Müller-Ötvös also announced that the first all-electric Rolls-Royce, the Spectre, orders had exceeded the brand’s “highest expectations”, including in China, where the brand experienced a slight single-digit decrease despite significant Covid-related challenges in the country. As Rolls-Royce has announced before, by 2030, their entire line-up will be electrified, with Spectre projected to be the third pillar in Rolls-Royce’s volume strategy that includes Cullinan (the most popular Rolls worldwide) and Ghost.

Further announcements included establishing the first Rolls-Royce Private Office outside Goodwood in Dubai and hinting at opening a second office in China in 2023. Bespoke Roller orders have also pushed the average price of each Rolls-Royce car to €500,000, with some Phantoms exceeding even the €1,000,000 mark. “Every car now leaving Goodwood is bespoke,” says Müller-Ötvös as clients want to ensure that their car carries their personal signature.
