EV ELEGANCE

The new Citroën ë-C4 X blends the elegance of a fastback with SUV-inspired styling cues with its cross-design approach.

Despite its smooth, aerodynamic shape, the new ë-C4 X, fitted with a relatively small 50 kWh battery, offers a somewhat disappointing range of only 360 km (WLTP), which translates to approximately 300 km of real-world range. Fitted with a 100 kW electric powertrain that delivers 260 Nm of torque, power and performance are equally disappointing, especially for an all-electric car. The ë-C4 X accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds with a top speed of 150 km/h.

Charging the New ë-C4 X at a public charging station, using a rapid 100 kW DC charger, the battery can be charged at a rate of around 10 km/min, with 80% of charge completed in 30 minutes, which is relatively slow compared to most other EVs. Charging at home, using an optional 7.4 kW/32 amp wall box, recharging takes 7.5 hours with a single-phase supply or five hours with a three-phase electricity supply, provided that the car is fitted with the optional 11 kW onboard charger. As with all electric vehicles, the battery can be recharged using a standard domestic socket, which is ideal for overnight top-up charging. Charging times can be pre-set using the car’s touchscreen My Citroën Drive Plus interface or the My Citroën app.
